The stunning property was built on 1857 by George Greca a famous Greek architect of the time and its colourful ceilings were painted by Italian artists creating a spectacular sight to impress the guests of its original owner, a rich Italian landlord named Matias Barabino who placed his initials and year of creation on the property’s balcony. Castro Hotel Syros was completely renovated in 2021 with its historical elements carefully restored to welcome its refined guests to an accommodation experience of luxury and bliss.
